Backup - Action - Response - FIX

LINES TO LONDON:

  • PLAN B: Use either of the two LiveU units located in the MCR area. Labelled as “LDN1(lu)” and “LDN2(lu)” on the router panel under the “TO LDN” tab. MCR will connect/control the unit from GIR.

  • PLAN C: Export and send via WeTransfer - Can either send directly to London or send to yourself and upload the package using the Vanguard system.

  • PLAN D: Plug a separate LiveU unit into SDI OUT port on the back of the BlackMagic unit on the Avid desk.

CARD INGEST COMPUTER:

  • PLAN B: Play footage directly into Avid airspeed with SDI cable. Connect SDI to the out of camera into the “VIDEO IN” port below the card ingest machine. Labelled as “MCR inject” (under “INJECTS” tab) on the router panel.

  • PLAN C: Use card reader to play footage on Mac Mini computer in MCR. 

  • PLAN D: Use card reader to play footage from laptop in Avid edit suite. Connect the computer with HDMI cable to the “VIDEO IN” port on the Avid desk.

  • PLAN E: Send footage to London via LiveU. MCR will send it back via the line FROM London or Aspera.

IN2IT UPLOADER:

  • PLAN B: Play video files on Mac Mini.

  • PLAN C: Email video file to Gmail email address. Open Gmail on Avid computer and save the file to Avid desktop. Input the file directly into the bin from Desktop.

  • PLAN D: Play clip on laptop. Connect the laptop into the “VIDEO IN” port in the edit suite via HDMI cable.

AVID:

  • PLAN B: Open project on the Channel4 or 3rd edit suite and play out.

AIRSPEEDS:

  • PLAN B: Send feed to London and they wanted parts back via ASPERA.

IFB (Studio or field)

  • PLAN B: Use cellphone IFB cable.

  • PLAN C (Studio only): Use LiveU unit and bypass hardwire/office IFB system.

  • PLAN D: Use Airpods or similar.

  • PLAN E: Cue from Off-Camera
